Allison Nagy '14: 'I couldn¡¯t let it be the end'

In the summer of 2019, five years after graduating from ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ, Allison Nagy and Nikita Rohr ran together in the 3,260-mile MS Run the US Relay to support research for multiple sclerosis. Nagy ran again this summer, but with Rohr cheering from the sidelines.

Grant propels DNA sequencing research at ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ

A grant from the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust will allow ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ faculty and students to engage in next-generation DNA sequencing research.

Carr '23 named ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ¡¯s 178th Academic All-American

Viking basketball's Daniel Carr '23 was named an Academic All-American, one of the highest honors for collegiate student-athletes. ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ ranks No. 1 in the CCIW and seventh in NCAA DIII in number of Academic All-Americans.

ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ, Rock Island break ground on Lincoln Park tennis complex

Administrators from the City of Rock Island and ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ broke ground on a six-court tennis complex at Lincoln Park, adjacent to campus. The project is slated to open for use by the college and the community in September.

Loiz ¡¯23 is All-American in first year of competing

High jumper Gabriela Loiz '23 earned All-American status at the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships in Rochester, N.Y. She is ÌìÒ×ÆåÅÆ's first women's All-American in the high jump since 1997.
